D. INDUSTRY TARGETED EDUCATION AND TECHNICAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT.

1. Education Curriculum Review and Development – To adopt Australian Standard.

Entirely review our education curriculum at all levels to promote quality education. PP will strongly push for adopting education of Australian standards.

2. Targeted Industry Requirement Skills Development.

Instigate reforms to have all tertiary and technical teaching curriculums to be based on relevant industrial needs prevailing both in PNG and growing industrial global economies.

3. Partnership with Australia and New Zealand for Teaching and Training.

Partner with Australia and New Zealand to have experienced and retired teachers to teach in PNG’s secondary and tertiary schools.

4. Promoting Subsidised Quality Education at all Levels.

Promote quality Education at all levels by ensuring minimum standards of infrastructure, teacher-pupil ratio, and curriculum materials are available and accessible in a timely manner.

5. Establishing Endowment Fund to Fund Schools of Excellence

Establish an education endowment to fund Schools of Excellence modelled on what has been learnt from the Enga Childrens’ Fund.
